Daniel Horan, OFM is a Franciscan friar of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Province (New York) and currently resides in Boston, MA.
Before entering the Order of Friars Minor (the Franciscans), Dan was a professional photographer specializing in editorial and sports photography. Dan has previously taught at Siena College, St. Bonaventure University, and is currently completing a doctorate in systematic theology at Boston College. Additionally, he is working on a number of writing projects and travels frequently to give public lectures, retreats, and workshops around the United States and Europe.
Dan is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the College Theology Society, American Catholic Philosophical Association, the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality, and The International Thomas Merton Society. And currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Thomas Merton Society
